SS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre was established in the year 1958 and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. It is a premiere institute that aims to offer top quality education to the students in the field of medicine and research. SSIMSRC is devoted in developing a critical, self-reliant and inquiring approach to medicine, flexible enough to prepare the student for the evolving future, without forgetting the value of traditional means and practices. The mission of the college is to nurture the future doctors and medical scientists and to contribute to the super-specialty areas that particularly benefit the rural population.
