Patil Institute of Technology & Research, Akluj was established in 2011 by Sahakar Maharashi Shankarrao Mohite Trust. This trust/society has been registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 in the office of assistant charity commissioner, Solapur. The institute is affiliated to Solapur University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute has the highly qualified, competent, experienced and dedicated staff. The college is established to meet the desired need of the people of the region. The institute intends to provide the high level technical personnel who would shoulder the responsibility of being creative leaders in technology at the national as well as international level. The vision of the college is to develop the knowledgeable and cultured community academic and extracurricular activities with a focus on character development from the rural society.
