Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology (RAIT), Navi Mumbai was established in 1983, to promote academic excellence in professional Engineering education, and is part of well known D.Y. Patil Group. It is a premier institution, holding pride of place among all the institutions in the group as well as all the technical institutes in the state. The institute is affiliated to the Mumbai University. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), a statutory body of the government of India. RAIT is an 'A' grade college approved by the Government of Maharashtra. Two of the undergraduate programs viz, Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation for a period of three years.The post graduate programs are also affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE Engineers today have propelled the world to a new era of technological advancement.
