Anjuman-I-Islam's M.H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering was established in 1984. College is a Unit of M.H. Institute of Engineering and Technology affiliated to University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE. Originally, the institute was founded in the year 1936 as a Trade School with the objective of turning out artisans in some industrial arts and crafts. In 1958, a three year State Diploma course in Civil Engineering was started. Vision of the college is “To bring out the whole Muslim Community from the quagmire of poverty and educational backwardness and encourage, enlighten and prepare all its members to be useful citizens who will contribute to make a prosperous, healthy and strong nation and to promote national integration by giving equal opportunity to all communities for their promotion and progress” Mission of the college is “To impart quality higher technical education to the students of Muslim Community in particular and to students of all other communities to be competent, dedicated and responsible citizens who shall also be the harbingers of secularism and national integration to the complete satisfaction of all stake holders” College is located in Mumbai and affiliated to University of Mumbai .Bombay was renamed Mumbai in 1996. The institute is located at Byculla. It is equi-distant of about 1.5 km from Mumbai Central Railway Station on Western Railway
