Established in the year 2007, Hindusthan Institute of technology is a very reputed college located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. It was started by industrialist Thiru.T.S.R. Khannaiyann, and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The campus is spread over an area of 200 acres. The college is also accredited with an 'A' grade by NAAC. The college offers both UG and PG courses in the field of Management and Technology and provides all infrastructural and educational provisions to all its students. The admission takes place through TNEA and TANCET scores conducted by Anna University. The college has about 10 departments including a department for Science and Humanities. The department of Aeronautical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication and Mechanical Engineering are accredited with the NBA. The college offers a good number of on campus placements to its students in major companies like Amazon, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, etc.
