DMMC was established in Feb 2020 and was permitted by Board of Governance In suppression of Medical Council of India for 150 MBBS students. It has a campus which is spread over 20 acers of land in Wanadongari adjoining a premier and very well-known technical institution Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering. DMMC has a modern 350 bedded hospital having world class facilities to extend health care to needy at affordable cost. It offers service in sub specialty services in specialties like Urology, cardiology and sub-specialty services ranging from endoscopy, minimal access surgery, Dialysis, Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy and wound care clinic locked with patients and catering with low cost and quality health care services. It has well furnished Intensive care units and Modular operation theatres The college has well established Departments of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry in a uniquely designed building. The laboratories museum and lecture theatres are well equipped and can serve ths needs of 200 students. The entire building is Wi-Fi enabled and having all audio-visual infrastructure wherever it is needed. This College also has a molecular laboratory which is accredited by NABL for HIV and HCV RNA detection. Recently ICMR has permitted to carryout RTPCR test for SARS COV-2 virus. Modern facilities like swimming pool, Gym and playground is also available in the campus. Well furnished girls’ hostel and Boys hostel are available. The DMMC has highly qualified and trained faculty having decades of teaching experience and scores of publications. The first batch of MBBS students shall be joining the college in month of Nov-Dec-2020.
