Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Science is a medical college located in Sri Adichunchanagiri Kshetra, Karnataka. It was established in the year 1986 by the CM of Karnataka. It has now made its position among the best medical colleges of the city. The colleges’ motto has always been to provide the students with all the facilities and training to turn them into good healthcare providers of the future. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The college is approved by the Government of Karnataka and Medical Council of India and accredited by many associations. There are some courses which are approved by the government and those are MBBS and MD/MS. The Institute provides its students with various facilities and the required training batches to its students so that they can learn quickly with practical knowledge. History – Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) was established in the year 1986 at BG Nagar, near Sri Adichunchanagiri Kshetra with a vision of providing medical education to aspiring students from rural areas. AIMS was inaugurated by the then Honorable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Ramakrishna Hegde on 17th Jan 1986 in the holy presence of Padmabhushana Dr. Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji.
